Tippi is Patron’s Pick Windsor-One Fringe down, Three more to go!
So the inaugural Windsor International Fringe Festival wrapped up this weekend and made a very good go for themselves out of the gate!…they broke record attendance for the first year of many Fringe festivals..congratulations to all the organizers and volunteers that made this a wonderful, shiny festival, Mona El Baroudi in particular!…and a very big thank you to all the people of Windsor who came out to support my run there and for making me feel so welcome in your city!…I was very happy that Tippi Seagram’s Happy Hour was chosen as the Patron’s Pick @ The Boom Boom Room and to have another 2 shows added onto my run…Sunday July 27th @ 2:00 and 6:00….all this in spite of the fact that I was performing with a broken rib for the whole run, there is comedy in pain!…and I was even happier still to have part of my family there to see me perform and have a mini-vacation together…especially since I’ll be missing them over the next two months!…but as these circumstances had it, I didn’t get to see much of my billet family, however I did get to take in one of their shows…Cap’n Matt’s Treasure Hunt…my first puppet show as an adult…and I Loved it!!!..I tell you if you ever get a chance to see it or have the pleasure as I did to meet this very talented family of Matthew Romain, Margaret Atkinson and Katie you won’t soon forget the experience..they were an absolute treat and Matt’s show…well it’s like fun in the sandbox again!
